What is the Soul Plan system?

Soul Plan 1The following is taken from the Soul Plan website.  For more information on Soul Plan, please visit

“Soul Plan is a new interpretation of an ancient system of life purpose analysis.  This method works on the conscious and unconscious level and promises to bring the recipient greater freedom, connection, satisfaction, healing and life purpose activation.

Soul Plan will introduce what, for most people at this time, will be an entirely new and fascinating way of seeing their lives.  This system uses the sound vibration and intention behind naming, to determine a person’s entire ‘Soul Plan.’

Simply by discovering your Soul Plan as revealed by your practitioner, you will naturally begin to align with it.  The more subtle message is, that in so doing, you may come to realise your true nature.  More and more people are now coming to this realisation and Soul Plan can be a significant catalyst in deepening this process.  When this fully occurs, there is a sense and experience of your Soul Plan unfolding naturally.

Do you know your life purpose?
 Are you still searching?
Do you have a sense there is something more for you in this life?

At this time many of us are experiencing some or all of the above. Understanding ourselves at a deeper level helps us gain clarity and direction.

A Soul Plan Reading is based upon the vibration of the letters that appear in your birth name (as it appears on your birth certificate) and may also take into account the name you are now using.

The method has been derived from the ancient texts the Sefer Yetzirah which explores creation of apparent reality through sound, letter and word. It also includes a method of gematria channelled by Dr Frank Alper 1930-2007. Frank initially introduced this work in the US before moving to Switzerland with his wife and workshop translator Katharina Alper, where he refined it further.

In the Soul Plan system the interpretations have been modernised and expanded by Blue Marsden, who has also channelled additional material which highlights the non-dualistic theme that lies at the heart of this work.  Blue also made the connection between Frank’s original work and the ancient text the Sefer Yetzirah and added more depth to the interpretations based on this.

In this present format, Soul Plan Reading is a remarkably powerful and accurate system of life purpose guidance, spiritual counselling and healing. Furthermore, this work has a relevance to all aspects of life and amongst many possibilities can be employed for name optimisation, business readings, relationship compatibility and healing of core limiting beliefs, old patterns and issues. Now is a good time for many more people to have their Soul Plan fully activated”.

As explained above, a Soul Plan is based upon the vibration of the letters that appear in your birth name (exactly as it appears on your birth certificate) and may also take into account the name you are now using.

Each letter in Hebrew has a corresponding vibration and sound.  Every word and name then has a meaning beyond the random letters. Therefore, as a starting point in uncovering your Soul Plan we take a simple but fundamental aspect of who you are - your original full birth name.  This is the code which opens the door to a deeper understanding of who we are.

Why the birth name?  This was the original intention that signifies your appearance as a separate identity.  This vibration, along with the accompanying cultural, geographical, biological and astrological conditions, initiates the process of individuation.  This is usually a gradual process, for when you are a baby there is no separate identity.  As far as ‘you’ are concerned there is no sense of separation.  That comes later.  The name you currently use, which in many cases will be different from the original, is also of significance but must be looked at separately.  The original name gives the most accurate reading for most people.

The name is the code that determines a structure for how this potential and personality manifest. Each human manifestation of the Divine is a unique experience.  Thus, it is that the sound vibration of your full birth name, which is projected into this world, causes the reality to rearrange around your experience to fit this.  The birth name remains the dominant vibration throughout life, although name changes and the name you use in the world can significantly alter your experience.  Our first step then is to find the corresponding vibrations for your name in Hebrew.  This process in itself already provides some interesting information and can provide an interesting numerological reading.

However, determining a Soul Plan requires a further step; we must next generate your ‘Star of Creation.’  A ‘star of creation’ can be thought of as a sacred symbol (configuration) overlaying your energy field.  It is from this pattern that we can read the Soul’s Plan.

The Star is made up of two larger triangles - one pointing down representing the earthly physical expression and the other pointing up representing the spiritual.  This combination forms six outer triangles each representing major aspects of life.  In the centre is the ‘Soul Destiny’ or essential core (Quintessence).

Generally, the downward triangle represents Shakti (the female Divine principle) and the upward triangle Shiva (the masculine).  This is the union of Yin and Yang, the basis of all creation.

Soul Plan 2In Soul Plan we acknowledge and incorporate all those meanings stated, and furthermore consider the star to represent an overlaying symbol of the human being.  The star symbolises the human merkabah or energetic vehicle.  Thus, we have a representation of the dual forces at play within our perceived reality.  And a being that exists between the earth and the cosmos.  When a balance can be achieved this leads the microcosm (human) into alignment with the whole.

The downward triangle represents the worldly domain.  The worldly usually refers to the first 30-40 years of life and is very much concerned with our relationship to the world, society, career, job, and the planet.  What difficulties do we have with the above? (Challenges).  What comes more naturally and what do we find easier in relation to the above? (Talents).  What are our aspirations? (Goals). The upward triangle represents the Spiritual domain.  Around 30-35 years of age, the Spiritual aspect begins to take on more relevance.  There are many who will be spiritually aware from childhood yet still require an activation of talents to achieve flow.  There are others for whom the Spiritual talents and goals will hold less relevance even later in life.  For many it involves waking to the fact that we are more than just a body.  This in itself may be dependent on working through worldly aspects. Sometimes initiation into the spiritual is preceded by a healing crisis.  If so, once it is seen from this perspective there is relief and comfort.  What spiritual lessons are we working through? (Challenges).  What gifts/service abilities do we have? (Talents).  Do we have a spiritual mission? (Goals).

The Soul Destiny (Quintessence) represents an essential aspect that is also indicative of our highest potential and overall purpose.  This aspect becomes more powerful at certain times during our lives.  This often indicates we are in line with our overall Soul Plan or some seemingly external factor is influencing our connection e.g. auspicious astrological conditions.  It also becomes more powerful/fulfilled as we move through the rest of the chart.  At a transcendent level it is the invitation to let go and become nothing else than fully ourselves, transcendence or ‘Moksha’ which means release from duality.
